What is Laparoscopic Surgery?
Laparoscopy is a Greek word meaning examination of the abdomen with 'scope' (Endoscope / Laparoscope), widely known as keyhole surgery or minimally invasive surgery.

Aim of Laparoscopic surgery: To perform open, standard, classical surgical procedures via the laparoscope and perform them with utmost proficiency.

Acceptance: Minimally invasive surgery is widely accepted today as an alternative to traditional surgery which requires greater post-operative care.
