Dr Pratima Rajan, a medical graduate and post graduate from Maulana Azad Medical College (Delhi University), has done advanced studies in Sports and Rehabilitation Medicine from University of Kansas, USA. Subsequently, she completed a degree program of Master’s in Public Health from Kansas University Medical Centre, Kansas, USA. 

Dr. Rajan has over 25 years of experience in Clinical and Rehabilitation Medicine as a Consultant to the Sports Authority of India, and as a Research Associate in the Department of Preventive Medicine (KUMC, USA). At Jaslok Hospital (Mumbai) she established and worked as head of the department for Preventive Cardiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation.

Dr. Rajan has developed several important partnerships during her professional journey including one with a top national media house, to promote and facilitate several key health initiatives.  She is also the Regional Representative (India) of the International Task Force for Prevention of Coronary Artery Disease, Munster, Germany and has several publications in international journals and has presented in several International Conferences. Her special interest area is chronic disease management (both primary and secondary) and Sports and Rehabilitation Medicine.

As a consultant of the Preventive and Rehabilitation Medicine at SevenHills Hospital Dr. Rajan’s endeavour is to promote health, prevent disease and minimize disability using evidence guided practices and innovative therapeutic approaches and making them accessible to all socio-demographic communities.
